Highclere Castle

If you’re planning a visit to Highclere Castle (the real-life Downton Abbey), The Jack Russell Inn is an excellent base for your day out. We’re only about 3½ miles (around a 10 – 15 minute drive) from the castle, making us perfect for pre-visit drinks, a hearty lunch, or a relaxed dinner after exploring the house, gardens, and estate.
